VINAY NAIR

Vinay believes those doing the greatest good deserve the best technology. He is CEO & Co-Founder of Lightful, which works with charities, social enterprises and foundations looking to scale their impact through the power of technology. Prior to this, he was a director at Social and Sustainable Capital (SASC), one of the largest social impact investors in the UK. He has also held senior positions at the Social Investment Business, Acumen Fund and the Clinton Foundation as well as launching two public health social enterprises, one in the UK and one in Mozambique.

Vinay started his career at the investment bank J.P. Morgan, where he spent almost a decade, latterly as Executive Director. He holds a BA from Trinity College Dublin and MPA from the London School of Economics. He is a practitioner-in-residence and industry advisor at the Saïd Business School, Oxford University, is involved as a Trustee and advisor to several other charities, and is the doting father to two young children.
