Sumitra Saha
Sumitra Saha is a Senior Foundation Executive at Greenwood Place. She has over 15 years’ experience in the UK philanthropic sector. Before joining Greenwood Place, Sumitra spent four years at MariaMarina Foundation, a Liechtenstein based foundation where she led the UK grantmaking portfolio and developed the first phase of their social investment programme.
Prior to this, Sumitra worked at The Royal Foundation for The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry where she was Senior Development Manager. During her time at The Royal Foundation, she worked closely with the CEO and the Board focusing on high-level fundraising and events for Their Royal Highnesses’ initiatives supporting young people, veterans, mental health and conservation.
Sumitra began her career in a role providing frontline support and services to refugees and asylum seekers in Nottingham. Outside of work, she is a trustee of a charity supporting refugees and asylum seekers in South West London. Sumitra studied History at the University of Nottingham.
