NICOLA BRENTNALL

Nicola currently serves as the CEO of ajaz.org - a charitable foundation who fund organisations that support children and families who face difficult days. She has also held the position of Director of The Queen’s Trust for almost a decade since January 2012.

Under her leadership,The Queen's Trust has contributed over £100m to charities that empower young individuals to support others. Apart from these roles, Nicola lends her expertise to Beat, a UK-wide charity aiding those affected by eating disorders, and Opera North, recognised as England's national opera company in the North, as a Trustee. Before her association with The Queen’s Trust, Nicola worked with The Prince of Wales’s Charitable Foundation as a strategy and governance consultant and with The Prince’s Trust as a Company Secretary. Her academic credentials include an MSc in Corporate Governance and Ethics and a degree in The History of Art, complemented by her status as a qualified Chartered Secretary. In recognition of her service, Nicola was honoured with an MVO in 2015.
