CHRISTOPHER GRAVES

Christopher was a family trustee of the Tudor Trust for 47 years and Director from 1986 -2023. During that time Tudor focused on making grants to smaller charities mostly based in the UK, ultimately making grant commitments of around £20 million a year. The trust developed a relational style of grant making which actively involved both family and non-family trustees, with a strong focus on listening to organisations and providing flexible and useful support through multi-year core grants. Christopher is now a trustee of the Segelman Trust, and is Chair of their grants committee.

Christopher trained as an architect at Cambridge and practised in London prior to becoming director of the Trust in 1986.
